Thus far 2020 has been quite a year to say the least. We were fortunate to have one wedding before the COVID-19 outbreak and this laid-back, sweet bride and groom did not disappoint. With their wedding falling over Valentine’s Day weekend, E + B had a vibrant and sophisticated love themed wedding which was featured on Martha Stewart Weddings. E wanted a soft, natural makeup look using warm neutrals and pinks and a romantic tousled low updo with some volume. We also styled the handsome groom with concealer and a little anti-shine to perfect his skin for photos. We also stayed with E + B to provide our Beauty Concierge service to assist with photo styling, touchups, and assist with things they needed.
The wonderful team of vendors created a bright, airy, and colorful palette of pinks and pastels that were perfectly paired for a springtime wedding. Their intimate wedding with their closest friends and family was the perfect way to celebrate their love.

“Christa and her team were amazing! I was really worried when it comes to makeup and hairstyle cause I barely wear any make-up (like max. 10 days in one year) or do anything special to my hair. I don’t even know much about makeup/hairstyle terminology in English …. In our first call, Christa browsed the pictures I saved on the pinterest board and patiently clarified what I really wanted (didn’t realize I saved pictures with conflicting styles). Out preview was a great success too — Christa did my makeup and Rachel did my hair. We finalized our makeup and hairstyle with some notes like tune down the whiteness a bit (okay, so you know I really don’t understand anything about makeup). Anyway, the day-of make-up and hairstyle were wonderful. Moms loved their make-up too. Last but not the least, Christa was superb in convincing my husband to allow her to put some foundation on his face (he normally refuses to use face lotion). He loved his hairstyle that day — he would say “man, my hair looked great” when we looked at our wedding photo together. We absolutely loved E + B and they were the perfect couple to begin our wedding season with. Although our year has had so much change with serving our clients, we could not have asked for a more awesome couple to work with.
