We always love an intimate gathering amongst close family and friends and B + S estate wedding in Kailua was a perfect example of that. B + S planned their destination wedding from the East Coast and brought along about 50 of their favorite people to celebrate. B and her bridesmaids were all college friends and family and enjoyed their time together as they don’t live near one another.
The couple chose our Day Rate Experience so they had their own personal Beauty Concierge stay with them throughout the day to assist them should they need anything.
With B’s makeup we kept it soft and pretty with warm, gold tones on the eye and soft pinks to suit her fair skin. Lead Beauty Stylist Mary created a beautiful low updo for the bride to keep her long locks out of the way for her ceremony and then let it down for the reception into a half updo. She wore a beautiful headpiece which is intertwined into her hairstyle.

“Christa and her team were absolutely incredible from start to finish. My first trial, Mary and Alex made me feel and look amazing and listened to all my concerns. They made sure my look was what I wanted while still giving me great tips and advice. Christa ended up flying to my location on Oahu for a last minute trial and stayed by my side through the ceremony giving me touch ups when necessary. She went above and beyond to make sure my hair and dress were perfect while taking pictures and even bustled my dress at the end! Having a team who genuinely cared about me and made my bridal party and I feel so comfortable was incredible. I can not thank them enough and would recommend each one of them in a heartbeat.”
