It was a star-studded affair with A + C’s winter wedding. A and C are elite track and field athletes who at the time were training for a spot at the 2020 Olympics and we were so excited to be a part of their wedding. The black and white art deco glam blended with the beautiful Christmas decor at the beautiful Meritage Resort was the perfect setting for their winter wedding.

We only did the makeup for A and her bridal party and created a soft, naturally enhanced makeup for all bridesmaids, and for A for her ceremony. Warm tones are always so complimentary and add warmth to the face to give a beautiful glow. We also styled the groom with a sheer layer of airbrush makeup, a tiny bit of concealer, and groomed his brows for a polished look.

Groom styling is becoming increasingly popular as both the bride and groom want him to elevate his look. To all of the grooms out there, if you are interested in getting styled by a Makeup or Hair Stylist, the spectrum is very broad as to what that entails. It can be anywhere from just hair and a bit of anti-shine powder to airbrush makeup, concealer, hair, and actual grooming. Talk with your bride and tell your stylist what you are comfortable with and they should be accommodating to your request. You deserve to look your best too!

A + C opted for our signature Beauty Concierge service and we added a quick smokier shadow to her eyes for a more party appropriate look for their reception.
