Take a nice drive down to the North Shore and you’ll find a hidden gem, Loulu Palm Estate. Tucked in the residential area of Haleiwa, is a quaint property that is the perfect venue for a intimate, Hawaiian beach wedding. When you first walk up to the property, you instantly understand it’s name. The abundance of loulu palms gracing the property along with other native and local plants really give that feeling of visiting tutu’s house and feeling like you are coming back to a place that is close to your heart. The main house maintains that traditional Hawaiian charm with wood furniture, local art, and Hawaiian patterned quilts and textiles.
The bride and groom suites are perfect for small to medium parties who want to relax while getting ready. The yard which is perfectly manicured is large enough to have a giant tent along with a dance floor to create that outdoor luau feeling. The best part of the property is the secluded beachfront that is the ideal spot for those gorgeous sunset photos. To have a strip of beach to yourself on the North Shore is very rare and it is the perfect spot to take that moment, just you and your new partner, to celebrate your marriage. Once you’ve soaked it all in, you can rejoin the rest of your party and dance the night away.
Loulu Palms has always been one of our favorite venues to work with, not just because it’s a little piece of paradise to have weddings, but also because they make a difference in the Hawaiian community. Loulu Palm Estate is not just a wedding and event venue, they also do conservation work that benefits not only the environment but also the Hawaiian community and culture. Every time a couple gets married at Loulu Palms, they plant two new loulu palms! Loulu Palm also partners with local companies like Hawaiian Legacy Hardwood to revive the population of koa trees and native plants in the islands as well as Waialae Fishing Village to help in the efforts to build the number of Hawaiian fishing shacks on the north shore. Just on the property in Haleiwa, there are about 400 palms on property and about 100 new palms are being planted each year.
Nicki and the team at Loulu Palms truly embody the aloha spirit and are more than happy to help you find your perfect option for your wedding day. Wedding day options can be broken down by day and the hour so you can really personalize your venue option. If you want the authentic Hawaiian beach wedding with your closest family and friends while doing something great for the environment and community, Loulu Palm Estate is the perfect fit.
